flogging molly

i had a big day yesterday. i went to work, ran errands, took max to the beach with sue and missy, and then went to the flogging molly concert.
it was just as good as the last two i've been to. they are so much fun to watch. and the crowd is always more into it than at other shows. they played all the songs i wanted to hear.
on another note, is jello biafra gay?
there were two opening bands. one was the briggs from L.A. and they were good. so good in fact, that nathan went to go buy two of their cd's as they played. i'm happy. the other band was the street dogs from boston. they seemed like nice guys, but they weren't as good. their redeeming factors were that they played two cover songs that i really like. they played "career opportunities" by the clash, which is probably my favorite clash song, and "borstal breakout" by sham 69.
we got two t-shirts, and as the show started, i turn my head to the side, and there's nate threlkeld. i like that guy, because he went out of his way to help me out one time, so i grabbed him in a hug, and then let him chat with nathan while i continued to pogo.
i'm a big geek but at concerts, i don't care what anyone thinks.
i have to admit to something ugly in my nature. i got pretty pissed at this guy, and almost told him off, because he walked past me in a guns 'n roses t-shirt. i know i should love all humanity, but there's no better way to get my goad than to like such horrible bastard crap. nathan laughed at me because of the look of disgust on my face.
i have to go to work this afternoon and teach a class, and then i have a butt-ton of papers to grade. friday is test and homework due date, so i have about a thousand papers to go through.
it sucks to be me. but not really. after all, i did get to go see flogging molly last night.
