results of poker night

i played about 5 or 6 hands. i decided to end things early when i thought i had a decent hand by going all in. i wanted to end my game because a million of my friends had issues that needed to be resolved last night. just to be clear, i love my friends more than poker, so i played recklessly and lost, which was fine by me. i had two pair and was so excited about my first real hand for the night, and the fact that i couldn't play much longer that i went all in, even though there was a straight-draw on the table. as luck would have it, someone had the straight, so i was the big loser. but i was happy because nathan's hippy friend (who i gave lots of sass to all night) told me i had a great poker face, which i was hoping was true. i need to be good at some things.

i am adding a link to this page. that website that kirsten directed me to is a riot. i've only read through three of this girl's posts, but i'm hooked. nathan is napping in the other room, and my laughter woke him up enough to mutter something about the beats. after i add the link, i'm going back to read some more.
i think we might go to the beach later on this evening with the dogs (indi, badger, max, taylor and carly). and tonight is the FLOGGING MOLLY CONCERT!!! i'm a little excited.
