Food poisoning

Thank you, Subway, for giving me food poisoning. Your tuna sandwiches should have turned on my "Danger, do not eat" reaction, but somehow they didn't, and I have spent the last day puking.

It's not safe for me to be farther from a bathroom than 10 feet, so I used 2 of my paid time off days for this. I've been getting stomach cramps, (other worse things), and now I have a killer headache. The Internet says that if I don't feel better tomorrow I have to go to the doctor. It's probably E. coli.

I had a lovely Valentine's Evening watching TV and eating See's candy with Nathan. Then around midnight that night, I started feeling feverish and I knew what my problem was...I've had food poisoning a lot since I left my parents' care. I woke up, emailed my co-workers, and right around the time they probably realized I was late, I started expelling the contents of my stomach. It's been a party ever since.

I'm going back to bed now.

crap, i really hope it's not e coli. I, for the record, have never once gotten food poisoning due to tainted fish. you should take a page from my book!

And not eat meat? I think I'd prefer to just not eat anymore...it hasn't been too difficult these past two days. I haven't eaten food in almost 40 hours and I'm not hungry at all. I do have a massive headache though, but I think that's from the food poisoning.

Usually food poisoning symptoms occur within a few hours of consumption. I wonder if the candies didn't do it????

I hope you feel better!

I knew it, Subway food is the devil!

The devil! Four days later and I'm still not eating solid food or venturing more than 15 feet from any bathroom. But I'm not missing another day of work, so co-workers beware!

I have to agree with Kira - I wouldn't trust any tuna (or similar mixed item) that I couldn't ensure the freshness of, and a sandwich shop of any kind that has that sort of thing out for a while tops that list for me.

I hope that you're feeling better at this point.

Remember - not eating meat is a choice, but eating meat is an instinct. Sorry to all of you herbivores that I may have offended.

Your sub made me sick, your sandwich "artists" wear gloves but don't mind washing their hands. I walk into a subway ... they are cleaning the floor.

The guy cleaning the floor quickly gets behind the counter and he has already put on gloves, I wonder if he washed his hand. I let it go. Next day for all I know is I am food poisoned and the Teriyaki-Chicken is only thing I had the previous night.

I am never going into a SUBWAY - and so are my friends ... family ... and more to join.

Ha! That bout of food poisoning sucked a fat one! I don't think I've been back to subway since the incident, but what's worse is that I seem to have lost any desire to eat tuna, which I happen to really love. :(
At least I got a couple of days off of work for the incident.
