My eye started having floaters today, which is one of the symptoms they told me to look out for. They said if it happened, I should drop everything and come running in. So after an hour of hemming and hawing, I did. It was a bit of a fiasco that I'm not going to go into, but it turns out, I'm ok. The guy poked the heck out of my eye with this little stick. The first doctor did the same thing, but he was way gentler. (I welcome all penis jokes) This time, my eyes just started streaming tears. It was pretty painful...even with numbing drops.

Also, my cousin from Kentucky that visited last spring sent me a whole gallon of Appalachian tulip poplar honey!!!! Gotta make a batch of ginger ale this weekend...
