for a detailed account of everything that went wrong since the fourth, see nathan's blog. i still have been too lazy to post a link: http://stopreadingthisblog.blogspot.com
what he left out was the fright of my lifetime. when his clutch went out on the way home from dauphin island, i sat up waiting for him, wondering where he was. i was in the kitchen at his grandmother's house waiting up, and max started acting funny. he started staring into the room around the corner from me and out of my sight. he was staring up at one spot about human height, and then he started growling softly and barking at it. then, he just laid down like someone had given him his "down" hand signal, and kept staring at the spot. i freaked out thinking someone was in the house, so i took him outside and waited at the top of the driveway for nathan to get home. he and his uncle checked out the house later and no one was there, so i have no idea what was going on, but i don't usually ignore it when my dog acts weird. well, ok, he's always weird, but this seemed different.
anyways, we're out of alabama, and i hope stuff stops going wrong for us.
we had a great time tonight with biff and his girlfriend. she seems really nice, and it's great to see biff again.
off to bed with me, it's another long day of driving tomorrow.
