travelling

this is officially my "travelblog" now, or whatever you want to call it, because we are in the middle of illinois in the anti-hippie bus. we camped last night, and the night before that, we stayed at my parents' house in atlanta. this morning, we would have gotten an early start, but we decided we couldn't do without internet access any longer, so we bought a cheap computer from best buy, with the intentions of getting a good one when we move. we won't be so worried about it getting eaten by a bear if we didn't spend 3 grand on it.
about a month ago, chance told me that his coworkers that are black call him "unlimited credit" because apparently, black people have some inside joke/common notion that white people can just walk out of a store with anything they want for free, because they have unlimited credit. that was funny until the people at best buy told us they would give us a credit card with a pretty high limit, and we walked out with a free computer. we'll pay it off before we have to pay interest, but nonetheless, it was mighty easy to get this machine.
i almost caught lyme disease off a tick this morning, but luckily, i killed the bastard. i hope i manage to stay tick free from now on.
ok, i've gotta get on the road, because chance and missy are already in colorado waiting for us, and here we are dicking around in carbondale, il.
