my house is under contract!! we close on it on the 15th of june, so we have to be back here for that. we got a good price for it too. i finally got tired of no one wanting to put in an offer at a reasonable price that i lowered it to slightly less than it is worth. then, i had a bidding war that drove the price up almost to where i had it listed previously. i felt bad though, because the buyers that really really really wanted it didn't get it. they wanted to close in july, and couldn't do it any sooner.
in other news, i'm sick again. i know i've never stopped being sick this year, but this is something new. stomach cramps and sinus problems. i haven't had anything in my sinuses for a long time. my stomach's been buggging me for a few days now, so i think i'll just drink fluids today. hopefully that'll help me get back to normal.
we went to richmond night before last to see the casualties again, this time with dexter. i think he had fun. i had a blast. nathan had fun too. he got into the pit for both shows. he even got some minor, punk-related injuries in richmond. he's pissed, but i told him it made him a thug. he's got a little scratch on his forehead from where some little crowd-surfer's fingernail caught him and a crick in his neck from when another one landed on him.
oh, he's got a job interview on the 31st. he really wants the job, but if he takes it, we won't get to take our sojourn like we were planning. we probably won't get to see many of you. we'll end up going to colorado still, but from there, we'll have to head up to portland so he can start. it's all very tricky, because we'll be in colorado, then we've gotta come back here for our closing, and then get out to portland. i really want him to get this job though. i mean, the top three places we want to live would be portland, seattle, and boulder. if they don't offer him the portland job, they might offer him one in chicago or northern va. i might actually consider going to the one in northern va, if it's up to me at all. dc sucks in a lot of ways, but it doesn't suck in a lot of ways too. i would still be somewhat close to all my friends still. i would still have complete access to every punk show on the east coast. they have public transportation. and once dc bans smoking in public places, the black cat would be a downright cool club. of course, property's really expensive, and that city is just so ghetto.
it's too early to be worrying about any of that. i'm just happy i got my house sold and hopefully nothing goes wrong with it, because a lot could go wrong here. the main reason i didn't want to accept this offer was because they're working with navy federal, which has a reputation of screwing up closings.

What are you guys.....groupies?
Congrats on the house.
Biff, I'm just a jeepster for your love.
i would never do it with any band members...except maybe the ex-lead guitarist of the pressurizer level band. but thanks, groupie is a word i've never before been called. the list gets slimmer and slimmer.
Congrats on the house selling!
