shaving the pets

yesterday max got a mohawk and girl got a lion cut. you may wonder why i would do such a thing, but it's simple. the other day, i saw max throw himself on the floor to try to escape the hot weather, and it wasn't even very hot for me. then i remembered how much he suffered last summer and didn't want them to go through that again, so i shaved them! threw them in the bathroom and chopped down their hair with missy's grooming kit. they look so funny, but they're already acting friskier.
