so we're back in virginia. i'm actually happy to be back, because not only do i miss my friends and my animals, but so many things could have gone wrong on that trip that i'm glad it's over and nothing happened. well, nothing bad happened. the trip was fantastic.
i didn't give too many details on my last post, so i'm going to add some here.
the murphys show was great...they brought on a huge irish band at the start and then when they played their first song, there were around a hundred teenage irish step dancers on stage. everyone was behaving well and it seemed pretty safe. at one point, the band asked for the girls in the audience to come on stage and the guys passed almost every female in the building up there. there were so many people up there, there was barely room for the band. i stayed my happy ass in the audience. after the show, i got to meet one of the guys from the casualties. oh, i forgot...the avalon (the club we were at) wouldn't let me wear my jacket inside. i had to leave it at the coat check because it has studs and safety pins. what a bunch of pansies. airport security didn't even care about my jacket. the norva never bothers me. but this huge club in boston that is hosting 3 punk bands a night for a week has a problem. nancies.
we saw brain failure at a small club a block away from christina's house on wednesday. by the way, she's doing fine. she's got a great apartment in a really nice neighborhood right up close to the subway and everything you could possibly need to shop for. absolute convenience. i'll post pictures later. anyways, the band was great. the club was not so great...they had this dj hired to play his cd's for 2 hours before the bands went on. i don't go out to listen to cd's. i can do that at home. i want to see bands. the club's website said the show would start at nine, and since we had missed brain failure on sunday by showing up a little late, we decided to be on time this time. they didn't get on stage until around 11:30 or twelve. i wanted to take a nap after a while. i just sat on a barstool and waited for over 2 hours. it was for suck. but then the band played and everything was better. they played a really short set and that wasn't cool, but it was still really good. i bought two t-shirts and got them to sign them. i'm happy about that.
ok, i've gotta do some housework, so that's all the update for now.

i'll have you know that after the hour you spent with us waiting (which was a lot of fun) i waited for two hours with only my nathan and that part was the suck.
