Leaving Virginia!!!

I'm super excited today and a little bit nervous because tomorrow I fly to Boston to see my best friend that I haven't seen in THREE YEARS.
Is it juvenile to still refer to people as your best friend at 26 years old?  Does anyone even care about who your best friend is, or whether or not it's juvenile to call them that?  I've got lots of friends that I love with a ferocity (you all know who you are), however, I've known Christina (or "Christina number one" as her parents used to say in order to distinguish between us) since I was eleven and she was eight, so she's my oldest (not eldest) friend.  And there's no replacing the knowlege someone has about you if they've known you since you had big plastic-framed glasses.  I had no idea when I left her last time that it would be so long before I saw her again.
So I leave for Boston tomorrow, and I've never been there.  I have a feeling I'm not going to get to see too much of the city, but I don't really care.  I'm not going there to tour Boston.  I'm going to eat pancakes and talk talk talk with my friend who hasn't seen me since before I could call myself a married woman.
