The bike's gone

That's right, the bike I mentioned in my last post has been removed; and probably not by its rightful owner. As I mentioned, it was chained to a sign. Today, the bike was gone, and the actual sign was on the ground. It turns out, it was only connected to the post by two loops of metal. It was quick work for someone to disconnect it and lift the bike over the post, which was probably only four feet high. This gives the burglar plenty of time to work on the lock at home. Eh well. I guess if you're stupid enough to leave your mangled bicycle chained to a post for two weeks, you get what you deserve. I still feel bad about the whole thing.
