"Let's go to the matinee," she said
Today Nathan and I went to go see Ice Age. What I didn't count on is that there are people in this world with kids. I just forgot about that. So, surprisingly, the matinee showing was full of little rat monsters. They laughed raucously at everything, especially the not-so-funny parts. The little boy in front of us kept having to be shushed by his grandma for yelling too much, and at one point, he got up and danced to the soundtrack. At another point, the little sloths on-screen all hugged, so he got up and hugged his brother. It was funny. Only slightly annoying.

Hmmmm. Makes you miss Jaiden?
Jaiden's face makes me smile every morning when I see his picture on the fridge!
I miss you guys.
That's why there are theatres in Austin that only let kids in at certain times.....and they serve beer.
Now only if they did that in planes, restaurants, every other public place thinkable - it'd be great.
I bet those theaters don't play kids movies though. And honestly, I got what I asked for going to see Ice Age. It was pretty good though. I like cartoons. (sometimes)
But I agree. Kids shouldn't be allowed everywhere. And my dog should be allowed everywhere that kids are, because he's usually cleaner and better behaved.
Huh...whaddaya know. That is pretty cool. It doesn't get better than that.
I am sure that one of the little snot monsters was my son. Thats why we take them to the matinees to lessen the risk of not annoying you cool non kid having people. Yeah, I hate it too at times.
I talk a big talk, but I love kids. I always have. Even when they're annoying. And one day, I will most likely be one of those super-uncool kid owners.
NO BABIES FOR YOU!
