yesterday, i peeled a pound of ginger and my finger

yesterday we made homemade ginger ale, and as the title suggests, i had an accident with the potato peeler. it's gruesome. i know no one needed to hear about it, but i like bragging about my injuries. i will probably have a wicked scar.
the ginger ale tastes pretty good today. it's not carbonated yet, and we didn't use enough ginger. next time, we'll use two or three pounds, and i won't use a potato peeler, and i will take my time. we also decided to use honey to sweeten it, and it's a nice variation on the recipe. i don't think nathan likes it too much, but if there were more ginger, it would be better, i think.
i think brewing ginger ale is awesome, worth the lost skin and i will be doing it often. i think i'll start a ginger ale bottling company, and name it bloody ginger ale. that sounds appetizing, doesn't it? i can write a little story on the label, like hip soda makers are prone to do lately, and guarantee that the bottle is 100% skin and blood free.

Don't be making skin free promises you can't keep!

Sorry about the finger. Cool that you made ginger ale though. Sorry to hear that other things are not going well also. Call me if you need anything. I will be home the majority of this weekend.
