stuck!

i currently have people beating down my door to sell me their ipods. there's only one problem: i can't find a wholesaler of the replacement parts i need. i know that toshiba makes the part, but their website seems to not be geared towards sales. anyway, i can't continue to buy ipods if i can't buy the replacement parts for less than retail cost. i'd never make a profit.
last night, netflix sent us scarface. nathan and i had never seen it and it seems to come up in discussion and parody constantly, so we thought it would be a good idea to see it. it really wasn't all that good. i mean, it was long, and there was a story, but as far as gangster movies go, i wasn't all that impressed. the godfather was much better. i really only liked the first godfather movie, but they were all ok.

thanks! it's just harder than i think it should be to find a supplier. i don't think it's impossible, but i expect google to find me the answer after at least the second day of looking, and lately, it hasn't been delivering.

Scarface wouldn't have like your music anyway!

BTW, Say hello to my little friend!

scarface wouldn't have liked my music! that soundtrack was so cheesy! haha. we were laughing about the music the whole way through. i guess you can't expect much more of a movie that old, but it was something special.
the movie wasn't bad, by all means. i've just seen better. and i'm not a big fan of the gangster genre, either. i liked the godfather, and that's about it. i'm the same way with vampire movies. i really really liked one vampire movie, and the rest have all been a disappointment. i think vampires should always be pretty, have frilly cuffs, and never be hunted. oh, and werewolves should never be part of the story.

Don't expect to get wholesale prices without actually being a legit business.

That's the way it works in the bike biz, and I suspect it's even worse in other industries.
