out of office reply

i'm going to be in sacramento for a few days, so i won't be posting much probably. i'm visiting my sister and nephews. i'll be back on monday, but i might make another trip next week. i haven't decided.
today's quote is going to be the first in a series that will end my quotes for now. i'm posting a couple of sections at a time from the song "Anatomy of Your Enemy" by Anti-Flag

10 easy steps to create an enemy and start a war:
Listen closely because we've all seen this weapon used in our lives.
It can be used on a society of the most ignorant to the most highly educated.
We need to see these tactics as a weapon against humanity and not as truth.

First step: create the enemy. Sometimes this will be done for you.

Second step: be sure the enemy you have chosen is nothing like you.
Find obvious differences like race, language, religion, dietary habits,
fashion. Emphasize that their soldiers are not doing a job,
they are heartless murderers who enjoy killing.

I'm a little behind, so this is aimed both at your previous post and your current one.

Yes, I read your so-called "drivel" consistently, along with a few select others. However, if you've ever seen my site, I'm not any good at timeliness, and rarely can I think of something constructive to say.

Enjoy your time off. Don't think about the employment issue for a while. Sometimes its nice just to feel free and clear. There's always time for stress tomorrow.

If you're driving, you should try to sneak into NW Cali/SW Oregon. That is some seriously cool territory. Giant Redwoods anyone?
