i have been so busy! this weekend has been full of me helping friends, friends helping me, and packing my crap up to move. tomorrow we pick up the uhaul, and hopefully we'll make it down to atlanta, but we probably won't get that far. we'll be back next week sometime. probably monday. i'll try to post while i'm gone, but nathan's grandparents don't ever have good access to the internet.
the house isn't sold yet. i got an offer the other day that was more of an insult, really. it pissed me off. i was so angry about this realtor trying to tell me that my house was worth less than the dump across the street that was smaller, needed a new roof, had no fence, and no appliances, simply because it had a tiny attached garage, and mine has no garage. honestly, if i knew this garage business was going to be such a hassle, i'd have taken out a loan two years ago and built one. ah well. hindsight.
so we'll probably be back on the 17th. we'll see two casualties shows, one built to spill show, and then we'll be here until the 27th...the day nathan gets out. after that, we'll drive to colorado to go camping with the brex's. after that, i have no idea. it depends on whether this house is sold or not. without it being sold, we can't go on our sojourn.
today was jaiden's birthday. he's a big three years old today. we had a lot of fun. i got him a cake and we just had a picnic at sonic. then, nathan took beth car shopping because donte had to work. i babysat the kids. they bought a dodge caravan. it's really nice, and brand new. the kids were really good for me. they always are, but the little one can be a handful, because at that age, it's tough to not have mom around to feed them every few minutes.
after we got home, i went and dropped my cat (my princess, the light of my life, the house's jewel) off at zach bistline's house. i already miss her and want to cut the sojourn short so i can have her back, but she couldn't be in better, more capable hands. she's going to have a blast this summer with those boys, when she finally stops hiding in her litter box.
