later in day 52

right after i made that post this morning, i started wheezing really badly, so i trucked myself to the emergency room at 3:00 AM. they didn't see me for 3 hours (after the wheezing stopped and my breathing returned to normal). i got scared because i've never had a wheezing sound like that. i was gasping for air for about 1.5 hour. you would think that if you walk into the emergency room and say "i can't breathe" and are audibly (and visibly) struggling for breath, they would let a doctor look at you immediately, but no. i sat there and suffered for a few hours first. the doctor gave me some different medicine and said good luck. he said if i want to find out what's really wrong with me i have to go to my regular (crappy) doctor.
nathan bought me a humidifier this evening. (and bought himself a beer-brewing kit). hopefully something will finally work on me.
oh, my oxbloods came in. i was the coolest kid in the ER.
our bedframe came. being the geniuses that we are, we built it before measuring, and now there's no walking space in our bedroom. in order to fix it, we're going to have to break it back down, rearrange furniture, and build it back again. that won't happen until sunday, though. in the meantime, i'll have to leap over the footboard to get into bed. i bet max is going to really freak out.
