this morning i was woken up by my lungs trying to expell things at 5:30 and then it was only a matter of time before i had to get up to go get beth's mom and take her to the airport. that was fun. we talked about our conspiracy theories. well, i told her all about my conspiracy theories and she didn't tell me i was crazy.
then i came home and got ready for church. i made plans with kira to meet at katanas for sushi right after. on her way there, she found a stray puppy and we didn't know what to do with it, so when i got into the restaurant, i asked kelly if she wanted it and surprise, surprise, she did. so kelly has a new dog courtesy of me and kira. i bought her the first batch of puppy supplies, i'll train it and missy will shoot it full of vaccines.
i was really proud of myself.
now i'm cooking chicken soup for nathan who's got shift work for the next month and i've got a stack of papers to grade that's as tall as me.
you reap what you sow. if you don't take home work over christmas, you regret it at the end of january.
all week, i lost money at poker, but yesterday, i just chilled out and played slowly all day and won some of it back. maybe i should just play on weekends. or maybe i just need to practice and i'll get better.
the only difference between an addict and a champion is that addicts don't win bracelets.
