motorcycle tippin'

yesterday nathan and i got a lot done around the house. it's still a complete disaster, but we have food now, and most of the dishes got washed. nathan has decided we need a new ps2 since ours needs a repair.
last night, we went to dinner with dexter's family. it was great to finally meet his parents. they were exactly as i pictured them. we all went to red lobster. it was nathan and dexter's first time eating there. then i went bowling with dexter and his two sisters. we had a lot of fun. my thumb got sore by my third game, so i had to hang up my ball and use a crummy bowling alley 8 pounder. i'm trying to improve my skill at that game, but i'm not doing very well. i can't get my ball to spin. not even a little bit. however, i told dexter the way to make those bowling alley balls spin is to not put your thumb in, and he and his sister sheila got really good at it really fast. how come i can tell people how to improve, but i can't improve myself at all? we had lots of fun. we bowled until 12:45. i don't think i've done that since i worked at peaches.
nathan and i bought some new patches for my jacket and these.
today i'm going to hang out with beth in newport news. then i might go bowling again with the sells tonight. anyone wants to go, let me know. oh, my cell phone is missing, so don't call that. call my house.
yesterday, this horrible woman at the commissary gave us some sass, and i almost told her how it was. the only thing that really stopped me was that she was already far away by the time i heard and registered what she said. people don't have the balls to look at you after they say something horrible and rude. they say it and run, so that you can't say anything back. i saw her again as we were driving off, and nathan wouldn't pull over for me to tell her anything. i guess that's ok. i don't want to sink to anyone else's level, but i've been a pushover for far too long. all my life really, and i'm done with it.
there ought to be the pastime of motorcycle tipping.
