i haven't been posting lately because my life has been exceptionally boring. that happens when you have a grown-up job. life involves work and sleep. especially when you're still battling that cough.
notable occurrences lately have been as follows:
- nathan and i went to see national treasure. it was okay.
-i went to visit at sue's house on saturday and it was fun as usual. except that wally made us watch the bond-athon. that bastard... i oughta enlist my army of four-foot ghetto thugs to ambush him and bludgeon him with wiffleball bats.
-i've learned to make a mean turkey salad sandwich. it involves celery.
-nathan took me to outback and i got a fantastic filet with bleu cheese. it was marvelous.
-oh, i have a major correction to make. a few months ago, i made a post about Tiron and his bangin' breath, but i was absolutely wrong. i found out today that proper ghetto terminology is in fact, not bangin', but "kickin'". i learned this from the other teachers who had a conversation about some parent's kickin breath. i stand corrected. i'm sorry for the mistake.
-it's funny when my kids don't know how to pronounce things, but it's funnier when the teachers have a hard time pronouncing everyday words. today, i heard one of my fellow teachers say "pepma bismol" and not even pause like she wasn't sure...
-i got a new student named "aqueena". i found out that there's a student at our school named "amiracle" and another named "laprecious". haha.
-i compiled a list of my students whose names end with "quan". there's jayquan, traquan, daequan, dre'quan, and raa'quan. heh. chance says that these names don't really rhyme, but i'd like to point out that all of them contain a long "a" sound, followed by "quan".
i'm grasping at straws here. that's really all that's new. talk to you guys later.

So would that make you "achristeenyaquan?"
-Sean
that's pretty good...maybe i'll name my first kid that. it would follow with the brother and sister combination named "marvin" and "marvina" (presumably after their dad) whose mother is named "calvina" (presumably after her dad) and the girl named "kevina" (presumably after her dad).
