my cat's breath smells like cat food

i once read that there are 6 dogs per person in america. how many people do you know that own 6 dogs? i wonder what happens to the 5 dogs i don't own?
i still encounter people weekly who think it's cruel to spay/neuter. in fact, i had a lovely conversation with a couple of the groomers i work with who state that popular opinion on the matter is just crazy. they say that it makes no sense that declawing is viewed as being cruel but spaying/neutering is supposed to be a good thing.
several of the people i work with breed animals for fun and profit. when i first started working there, i had a conversation with one of my managers about breeding her dogs that went something like this:
her: "my minpin is pregnant right now, she's due any day"
me: "oh, that's cool. did you plan to have puppies, or was this an accident?"
her: "oh no, i bred her with my male"
me: "oh really? why did you decide to do that?"
her: (actually, i can't remember what sort of justification she had for it)
me: "so, are they show dogs?"
her: "oh no, she doesn't have proper conformation"
me: "well...um, why did you choose to breed her? i mean, correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought you were only supposed to breed your dog if you could prove that they were somehow a superior model of the breed, and the only way to do that is to win medals by showing them or putting them in field trials."
her: "oh, no, that's only if you're trying to better the breed"

who's got high blood pressure?
i do, i do!
oh, the masses are asses
everyone i meet who has a purebred dog talks about the breeder telling them that they come from champion bloodlines. these people don't seem to realize that that means f***-all. every breeder says that. unless you are shown the actual medals that the parents have won and all of the other indicators that one has to look for in order to decide whether a breeder is reputable, you can pretty much be sure that your dog was bred by a backyard breeder. either buy from responsible breeders, or go to the pound and rescue a dog. or better yet, if you're an idiot, don't get a dog.
so, since i believe i know what the good and bad reasons for breeding dogs are, and i know what the bad reasons for breeding humans are, what would you guys say are the good reasons for breeding humans?

I have nthing against having ur pet fixed because it keeps the pet/animal population down so there are no animals without homes that will die or be put down because they cannot find it a home. But i think declawing a cat is awful because if its not done right there paws can become infected and stuff. If you are thinking about declawing a cat and this is for anyone! There are special covers you can buy where you slip them over the claws its like a pastic hard cover so they won't scratch and tear at things. Anyways thats my 2 cents lol

i don't know you, but i totally agree with you about declawing. my cat had soft-paws for a while. she doesn't really need them though...
the groomers tried to tell me that soft-paws don't work, so i told them that they had worked on my cat for at least 2 months. stupid bastards.

Wow, all that and you didn't mention neuticles??

What is it about guys that think they have to have some big mean rottweiler and he's (he's got to be a he) got to "have a set?"

Sigh.

haha, neuticles rock.
i've never seen them in person, but apparently, you can get fake testicles attached to your dog (or any animal, really) after you have them neutered. it's for men who are insecure with not being able to see dog balls flapping around their houses.
